Community Solar PV project

We are cur­rently look­ing into put­ting com­munity-owned sol­ar PV pan­els onto one of the Lothian buses depot sites. We would be provid­ing Lothian buses with green elec­tri­city, there­fore help­ing to reduce their car­bon foot­print. The money gen­er­ated from feed in tar­riffs  from the elec­tri­city pro­duced would go towards com­munity pro­jects. We hope to find out wheth­er this is pos­sible by the end of December ’10.
