Orchard workdays

Orchard work­days offer hon­est and reward­ing graft for those who want to help devel­op and main­tain the Donkey Field Orchard. Everyone is welcome!

Each work day has a co-ordin­at­or who will be there to wel­come you and sort out what tasks need to be done.

Work days for 2017 will be on the fol­low­ing dates from 10 am — 2 pm.

• January 28^th — was­sail­ing cel­eb­ra­tion (note this is 2pm- 4pm)
• February 25^th
• March 25^th
• April 29^th
• May 27^th
• June 24^th
• July 29^th
• August 26^th
• September 30^th
• October 28^th — Apple Day 2pm- 4.30pm
• November 25^th

When com­ing along to a work­day please make sure to bring some­thing to eat and drink and wear appro­pri­ate cloth­ing, espe­cially now the nettles have sprung up again.  Even bet­ter, bring some thick gloves and a bag to col­lect some for soup!

What to bring (if you can):

• Gardening gloves
• Work clothes with long sleeves and legs (there are thistles and nettles!)
• Sun cream on hot days
